These Death Paly’s earn their name well as they boldly blaze across Joe’s front ledge. Joe maintains a healthy of these beauties as snacks for his large Pomacanthus angels who may otherwise turn their attentions to slower growing lobos and other LPS. Remember that paly’s are one of the most toxic corals in the ocean, so please don’t rip, cut, mash, boil, steam, or chew these toxic gems, or you may end up swollen and blacked out like several other unlucky reefers. They do not affect reef inhabitants adversely although they will win territory over a slower growing neighbor if you don’t keep them separated.
